The Bunker Hill Public Library District is working on raising funds to build an addition on the east end of  the current library building.   The new addition will include restrooms for patron use, a meeting room, basement, staff office and break room, a larger children's area and a new entrance way that will have a book drop and audio/visual drop.   The estimated cost of the new addition and remodeling of the current library building is $335,000. 00.   The library district needs to raise another $100,000.00 to be able to begin construction.  If you would like to donate to the Bunker Hill Public Library District Building Fund, donations can be sent to: Bunker Hill Public Library District Building Fund P.O. Box P Bunker Hill, IL  62014 The Bunker Hill Public Library District is a member of ILSO.   If you or your company  can only make donations to 501 (C)(3) Organizations you will be able to  make a donation through ILSDO.  Just send your check to: Illinois Library System Director's Organization 607 Greenbriar Road Carterville, IL 62918-1602. Include a statement that the donation is for the Bunker Hill Public Library District.  Please include on the statement that the check is for the Building Fund.  The Bunker Hill Public Library will receive the donated funds.  The ILSDO organization will complete and mail 501 (C)(3) tax statements to the donor for tax deduction purposes.
